Complementing the available turbocharged engine is an 8-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the outgoing 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Base models will continue to use the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with the Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).

The S, EX, X-Line, and SX trims come with blind spot collision warning and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist. The S, EX, X-Line, and SX trims also have safe exit assist, while the SX trim comes with forward collision avoidance assist with junction turning and smart cruise control with stop and go, plus navigation-based smart cruise control curve.
