The 27” PV270 is the most of the since it covers 96 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut used by Hollywood, which is much wider than the regular Rec.709 gamut used for HD video.

Designed to meet the demanding requirements of video post-production and graphic art professionals, this 27-inch IPS LED-backlight monitor (Technicolor Color Certified) supports a native resolution of 2560 x 1440p and provides 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms (GTG) response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles.There is also a 32-inches model.

If you are working with video you will also appreciate that thia new monitors can handle native 24fps video. Another cool feature for PV270 is “GamutDuo”, which allows you to display 2 input sources side-by-side in Rec.709 and DCI-P3. BenQ says that PV270 monitors can be turned 90 degrees into pivot and that have 2x USB 3.0 ports and an SD card reader built-in.

Providing 100 percent coverage of the Rec. 709, 99 percent of the Adobe RGB color space and 96 percent of the DCI-P3 standards, the PV270 comes with a number of input ports including 1x DVI, 1x HDMI1.4, 3-port USB 3.0 hub,1x mini DisplayPort1.2 and 1x DisplayPort1.2 . BenQ PV270 will be available in May 2016. Unfortunately, pricing details were not announced.
