ASUS today announced the S1 Mobile LED Projector – an ultra-portable projector with dimensions compact enough to fit into a pocket or briefcase. It features a built-in rechargeable battery for up to 3 hours of projection time, and which can also be used to charge mobile devices.
Ultra-portable projection with a built-in rechargeable battery
At just 3cm (1.18 inches) tall and weighing 342g (0.75lbs), the S1 Mobile LED Projector is the perfect portable projector for mobile professionals that need to travel light.
The S1 Mobile LED Projector is a stunning portable projector with a built-in 22Wh rechargeable battery that lasts for up to three hours on a single charge. The internal battery also allows the S1 to function as a 6,000mAh power bank for charging mobile devices.
A best-in-class short-throw ratio
With the best-in-class short-throw ratio, the S1 displays a 41-inch diagonal projection just one meter away from the screen – this makes it ideal for presentations in confined spaces.
The S1 Mobile LED Projector has an LED light source rated at 200 lumens, with a 100% NTSC wide color gamut for bright, photo-realistic projections. This eco-friendly LED light source has a 30,000-hour lifespan, which translates to long-term savings by doing away with the need for replacement lamps. The use of LEDs gives the S1 the ability to power on instantly meaning there is no waiting when it’s time to give that important presentation.
Exceptional audio and connectivity
The S1 Mobile LED Projector provides exceptional sound through its ASUS SonicMaster-enhanced speaker, and is compatible with laptops, media players and game consoles thanks to its HDMI port. The Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) lets the S1 project content from an MHL-compatible* mobile device while simultaneously charging it.
Incredible, award-winning design
The S1 Mobile LED Projector is the perfect solution for mobile presentations and content projection. It features a sleek and durable aluminum chassis with ASUS’s Zen-inspired concentric circle finish. The S1 is a recent recipient of both a 2014 CES Innovations Award and a 2014 iF Product Design Award.
