LG 31.5 Inch 4K HDR Monitor Will Available For Pre-Order

At Consumer Electronics Show CES 2017, LG has introduced an HDR compatible 31.5 inch 4K UHD IPS LED monitor, the LG 32UD99, and we have been awaiting its arrival ever since. Well, the wait is over, at least in terms of being able to order one. The 31.5 inch 4K UHD IPS LED monitor is now available for pre-order for $999.

The new LG monitor features a 31.5 inch UHD 4K screen with the screen resolution of 3840 × 2160 resolution, and it is HDR compatible to meet the growing availability of HDR movies and games. The professional grade picture boasting enhanced brightness and wide color gamut with incredible accuracy and it is ideal for content creation as well as high-end content enjoyment.

The newly arrived LG 31.5 Inch 4K HDR Monitor is also equipped with an IPS panel and display over 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color space that makes it ideal for media content creators of all expertise who will appreciate features as True Color Pro for color reproduction accuracy. It is also capable of getting a really bright display – it has a typical rating of 350 nits and a peak rating of 550 nits.

Regarding the gaming, the FreeSync support is present and accounted for, along with a relatively low 5ms GTG response time. The monitor also has generous viewing angles (178 degree vertical and horizontal), which is typical of IPS panels.

Additionally, LG 31.5 Inch 4K HDR Monitor is powered by a USB-C port that minimizes the number of unsightly cables while its borderless edges and slim ArcLine stand complete its refined image. It requires only a single cable to stream images to a 4K display, charge a connected laptop and execute data transfers simultaneously. The monitor is able to reduce cable clutter, which adds to its streamlined appearance. There are also two USB 3.0 ports, two HDMI 2.0a port and a DisplayPort 1.2 connector.

The monitor has a pair of built-in 5W speakers enhanced by the LG’s “Rich Bass” technology for a full bodied experience and is supposed to highlight low-end sounds.

The monitor will be available on March 28th for $999, according to a listing on B&H. Adorama also lists the monitor at that price and says it is coming soon, but does not specifically cite Mrach 28th.
