Global communication

The Exhibition enjoys a global exposure from the main international media – specialized and mainstream – present at Euronaval. In 2012, 56 major magazines signed partnership agreements for a promotional campaign over the 5 continents; the organizers intend to exceed that number in 2014.

In 2012, the 421 accredited journalists from various printed, radio, TV and Web media, ensured an international exposure to the exhibitors.

“Euronaval News”, the bilingual, printed, exhibition gazette, is also involved in the promotion of exhibitors’ products while providing a forum for the best analysts – from the political, military and industrial sectors – who attend the show. In 2014, Euronaval will use, for the first time, an English Web TV in partnership with ” Navy Recognition ” with an audience target of 30000/day and over 350 0000 pages viewed.

With this new promotion and communication tool the stakeholders of the international naval sector will be able to share their strategic visions or showcase their products and services for a large audience.

Euronaval’s ambitious conference program focuses on international current events in the industry. The conferences are moderated by fifteen internationally recognized experts and will be broadcast live on the Web TV. Three themes are identified for Euronaval 2014 “The evolution in the types of conflicts at sea by 2025″, “The contribution of international cooperation to maintain a powerful industrial tool “and” The convergence of public and private interests to protect and enhance the resources.”

Leveraging business opportunities

A “BtoB” show for professional visitors only, Euronaval creates business opportunities between buyers and exhibitors:

  • A number of “technology workshops “are organized by exhibitors to present their latest work or projects.
  • The ” Euronaval BtoB rendez-vous” created in 2008: During these bespoke meetings ( 1200 organized in 2012) , small businesses and large companies can make the best of their presence by identifying and meeting with targeted stakeholders to develop new technical and business partnerships.
  • The new «Innovation tours» organized by themes, will enable Euronaval visitors to rationalize their presence on the site with an easy access to products and projects sought for future industrial cooperation.
  • The 3 Euronaval Trophies for Innovation, Export, and Growth, also contribute to highlight the most innovative companies in the world, thus opening up new potential markets to them.

The Maritime Security and Safety: at the crossroads between the civilian and military sectors

Euronaval was historically positioned on naval defense. However, the show is now open to civilian activities supporting missions at sea for maritime countries, especially for Security / Safety issues.

A dedicated space (MSS – Maritime Security and Safety) at the center of the exhibition will display the exhibitors’ answers to issues related to the security of maritime transport for goods and people, or rescue at sea , humanitarian missions, migration control, fight against illicit trafficking, or to secure resources linked to energy, mining or fisheries.

Be it for defense missions or economic development, the sea is seen by all the stakeholders, customers and suppliers, as an area of increasing strategic importance, insuring the success of Euronaval 2014.
