ZTE launched the 4G LTE version of its bestselling Qing Yang 2 smartphone in collaboration with China Telecom, delivering performance improvements and enhanced user experience that will appeal to younger consumers.
The new Qing Yang 2 is powered by the energy-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8926 1.2GHz processor, adding support for FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE 4G networks to deliver data transmission rates of up to 150Mbps for an ultra-fast mobile Internet experience. Exemplifying ZTE’s technology leadership in 4G, new Qing Yang 2 is among the first batch of 4G smartphones available to China Telecom subscribers.
Apart from providing a higher-quality 1280×720 display, the 5-inch high-resolution IPS touch-screen on the new Qing Yang 2 allows users to make calls, switch on the camera, play music and perform other functions by simple finger control even when the phone is in screen-lock mode. Designed for younger users with energetic lifestyles, the new Qing Yang comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera, allowing users to improvise with a wide selection of visual effects enabled by ZTE’s industry-leading proprietary photography technology.
