BenQ America Corp., an internationally renowned provider of visual display solutions and global DLP® projector leader, today introduced additions to the M7 Series of business projectors with the new MX768 and MW769. Part of the company’s high brightness, high performance devices, the projection pair features up to 4,200 ANSI lumens of brightness, contrast ratios extending to 13,000:1, and flexible installation options that virtually eliminate the need to perform any manual adjustments. The end result is Colorific™ picture quality for accurate, crisp, and long-lasting color, SmartEco™ power-saving technology for lowering total cost of ownership (TCO), and overall simpler setup and maintenance for a wide range of small to medium-sized applications.

“The latest additions to our M7 Series sustain BenQ’s belief that both brightness and image quality can go hand-in-hand with ease of use and installation flexibility,” said Bob Wudeck, Associate Vice President, Strategy and Business Development at BenQ America Corp. “With wireless display capabilities, compatibility with third-party devices, and flexible placement options, the new MX768 and MW769 projectors are a testament to BenQ’s reputation for responsive innovation — providing teachers, students, and presenters with collaborative tools for superior presentations.”

Featuring resolutions in both XGA (MX768) and WXGA (MW769), respective 4,000 and 4,200 ANSI lumens of brightness, and high contrast ratios of 13,000:1, the MX768 and MW769 projectors are designed to bring the precision, brightness, and high-quality imaging required to meet the demands of today’s medium-sized classrooms, corporate meeting spaces, and other presentation venues — regardless of ambient light settings. For added convenience and to further accentuate the multimedia facets of any presentation by bringing screen-casted content to life, the projectors also come equipped with 20W speakers, offer full 3D Ready and nVidia 3DTV Play capabilities, and include optional wireless display for content delivery over the cloud.

For IT managers, LAN control enables centralized remote monitoring and management, while integration with Crestron® RoomView™, AMX®, and PJLink®, plus 1.5x (MX768) and 1.6x (MW769) big-zoom lens ratios, add to the projectors’ flexibility. Setups are made even easier with “Corner Fit” for both vertical and horizontal keystone capabilities, which adjust the picture’s four corners to create a perfectly rectangular onscreen shape, while “Surface Fit” automatically prevents unwanted image blends due to uneven surfaces, eliminating the need for users to ever perform another manual adjustment.

To enable PC-less presentations, the MX768 and MW769 provide wireless display options, allowing cable-free connections to presenters’ content sources for more fluid interactive sessions. The projectors offer a complete multimedia hub with a variety of connectivity options including HDMI, RJ45, and USB. Other energy-saving features include “instant restart,” which allows rapid rebooting when the devices are accidentally switched off, up to 3,500 hours of lamp life with BenQ’s SmartEco™ lamp-saving technology, and a filter-free optical system, which reduces the projectors’ TCO.

Available now, BenQ’s MX768 and MW769 projectors retail at $2,199 and $2,399 respectively.
