OnePlus 5 Packs the High-end Snapdragon 835 SoC

OnePlus – the Chinese startup has recently confirmed that its new device OnePlus 5 packs a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Aside from the processor, the smartphone has will arrive with a near bezel less and slim display. It is expected that the newly unveiled smartphone will begin shipping in the mid of 2017. The smartphone features a 5.5 inches Optic AMOLED display with the screen resolution of 1440 × 2560 pixels at 534 ppi pixel density. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that prevents your phone from screen damage when it falls down.

The smartphone runs on the latest generation Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. And the handset is powered by the newly arrived Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and coupled with Adreno 540 graphic processor. The smartphone is equipped with 6GB / 8GB of RAM along with 64GB / 128GB / 256GB of internal storage. There is no MicroSD card slot.

Regarding the camera, the smartphone sports a dual 12 megapixel rear camera while on the front, there is an 8 megapixel front facing camera for capturing selfies. To power the device, there is a non-removable Li-ion 3,580mAh battery buried inside. The phone will available in three color options: Gunmetal, Soft Gold, and Midnight black.

There is no information about the pricing and exact date of the shipment of the smartphone. But it is expected it will arrive very soon, maybe next month.
