If you’re thinking about buying a motorbike, you have a decision to make. You need to think about the type of motorcycle that you want. There are a few different types to consider depending on your need, experience, and personal preference.

Moped

If you’re not fussed about power and just want a small form of transportation, you can get a moped. These are cheap to buy and fuel. As well as being nimble the little bikes are a godsend for navigating busy streets. You’ll be able to get through traffic on your way to work in no time. Although, you probably will find it difficult to travel long distances. You’ll be stopping for fuel and a break quite a lot.

Lightweight Bikes

Lightweight bikes have a lot more power than your typical moped. They require a full restricted license and can be used for long distances. Lightweight bikes are often easier to control than the superbikes on the market and are perfect for long commutes. They are definitely more comfortable to ride than a superbike.

Superbike

Superbikes, while road legal, are incredibly fast and dangerous. You need a full license to ride one, and you should expect a phenomenal amount of power. Even pushing the bike a little will cause it to surge forward and it provides an incredible rush. These bikes should only be used by experienced riders who want the thrill and aren’t afraid of the danger.
