Canyon has produced a special edition Kraftwerk-stimulated Canyon Ultimate CF SLX motorcycle in collaboration with the long-lasting band Kraftwerk ahead of the 2017 tour de France.

The bike, that’s known as the Ultimate CF SLX Kraftwerk, is part of a very restricted run of 21 models. It pays tribute to the bands’ aesthetic with a black and white specific geometric pattern, originating from Kraftwerk founder Ralf Hütter’s own layout. It’s miles one of the maximum complicated paintjobs ever applied by the Canyon layout group.

The Ultimate CF SLX Kraftwerk may be ridden in Saturday’s opening time-trial by way of German world TT champion Tony Martin, who rides for the Canyon-sponsored Katusha-Alpecin crew and is among the favourites to win the stage and claim the Tour’s first yellow jersey.

The band will also be playing a concert on the town that evening. And who knows – perhaps Tony Martin will be a part of them on stage, dressed in a fetching color of yellow.

The limited edition motorcycles may also characteristic the SRAM wi-fi eTap groupset, a tools-moving gadget that allows riders to shift with digital switches as opposed to mechanical cables and switches. The components are positioned on a motorbike, then paired using SRAM’s proprietary 128-bit wi-fi encryption machine, known as Airea. Small satellite shifter buttons, known as Blips, can also be positioned everywhere along the handlebars.

The ultimate CF SLX Kraftwerk goes on sale on Monday, three July at 12:00pm CEST at the Canyon website and will cost €10,000 (geared up with SRAM eTap and Zipp 303 Firecrest wheels).
